Omega Speedmaster Mark 40
Introduction
The Omega Speedmaster Mark 40 (ref. 3513.33) is one of the most interesting Speedmaster models from the neo-vintage era. The classic 39mm steel case, tachymeter bezel, and light guilloché dial create a recognizable Speedmaster look in a more compact size than the traditional Moonwatch. This reference was originally produced exclusively for the Japanese market, which makes it a particularly interesting and rarer version. The model combines sportiness and everyday wearability in a way that has made it a valued alternative among enthusiasts alongside modern Speedmasters.
The movement is the automatic Omega Cal. 1152, based on the legendary Valjoux 7750 movement. The now-discontinued Mark 40 offers classic Speedmaster DNA in a compact size and with an automatic movement, which has made it an increasingly sought-after neo-vintage model among collectors.
